The Journal of Chinese Ancient Legal Literature Studies is edited by the Institute for Chinese Ancient Legal Documents, China University of Political Science and Law. It was published for four times during the period of 1999-2007. The Institute starts to publish it annually from 2010. Submission of papers both from domestic and overseas is welcomed.
The Journal mainly focuses on the research of Chinese ancient legal literature, publishing original academic papers and book reviews, each of which should be no more than 20,000 words. The Journal will be published in simplified Chinese, please submit your paper with a Chinese abstract no more than 300 words. If it is a paper in other language, the authorization for publication of its Chinese version in this Journal for the very first time will be appreciated. If the paper in Chinese was published in any form including on Internet, please don’t submit again. All the papers submitted will be reviewed and examined by the scholars in an anonymous manner. Whether it is accepted or not, the author will be informed within two months upon the receipt of the paper.

The deadline of submission is June, 30th annually.
Once the paper is published, the contributors will receive one copy of the Journal.
